Matthew 4:1-11

When Jesus was full of the Holy Spirit after having fasted for forty days in the wilderness, the enemy came to tempt Him in three areas of life in three different venues. All the temptations required Jesus to take the right decisions that would please the Father and fulfill His will. Having heard God commend Jesus as His beloved Son during baptism, the devil came up with a challenge saying, ‘If you are the Son of God, turn the stones to bread’.
