I am Jeyamary, a resident of Ban¬galore and employed in a garment fac¬tory. About 10 years back on the eve of Diwali (a Hindu festival of lights), I was on my way to work. In my neighbour¬hood, people were bursting crackers. Unexpectedly the crackers exploded and a few particles hit my right eye which injured my retina. Immediately it began to bleed. My husband rushed me to the hospital where first aid was administered and the bleeding stopped. But my vision was impaired in that eye and for 10 long strenuous years I had great difficulty be¬cause of the impaired vision.
In September 2015, I visited my daugh¬ter who lives in Chennai. There I attend¬ed a healing service in the King of Glory Sanctuary at Royapuram. The preacher for that day stated that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever and His healing power works even till this day. He quoted from 1 Corinthians 2:4-5, emphazing that our faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. On hearing this, my faith grew. At the end of the meeting I was prayed upon. Lo and be-hold when I opened my eyes, my vision was crystal clear in the injured eye. My joy knew no bounds as I experienced the healing touch of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have heard and read about Je¬sus, when he came 2000 years ago that He healed the blind. But now I know that Jesus even heals today and when we be¬lieve in Him we will witness His glory and power in our lives. Glory to God!
