NEVER UNDERESTIMATE GOD

Every time Moses used the rod as commanded by the Lord, something supernatural happened. Not even once, did Moses fail to see a miracle when he used his rod. Even when he disobeyed the Lord by striking the Rock instead of speaking to it, he saw the water gush out, to quench the thirst of his people (Numbers 20: 11).

But when the mixed multitude of people that Moses led out of Egypt, complained to him that they were tired of eating the worthless manna and wept craving for meat, the anger of the Lord blazed so hot against them, that Moses was displeased (Numbers 11: 4 - 10).

Moses was put into a tight spot where he could not possibly believe, that God could supply meat for all the six lakh people, crying and craving to bite bones.

And the Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s hand shortened”? In other words -Moses do you think that I cannot meet this demand to supply meat to six lakh people for a whole month? (Numbers 11:23)

To the sheer astonishment of all, God sent a wind which brought in quails from the sea and let them fall beside the camp on either sides, around the camp, about two cubits above the ground (Numbers 11:31).

As Moses doubted his wonder working Lord, God failed to use him and his rod in this miracle but performed it all by Himself!

What man thinks as impossible, is possible with God.

Thought for the day: Always remember that we worship an Almighty God, who can do the impossible without man’s involvement!
